The Railway Overbridge built at S.N.Chavadi is not utilised by the larger section of population till date. Some prefer to wait for few minutes (when train passes) rather than taking an alternative route which atleast a couple of kilometers to their journey. Many are not aware of train timings, also if one know of the timings ,trains in India seldom keep up the time.

One possible solution I see is to blow siren(or any other suitable type of signal) to indicate that the Raliway Gate is being closed so that people take the alternative route.

These sirens can be placed at
*Lawrence Road-Imperial Road junction

*Subrayachetty street-Lawrence Road junction

*One at Imperial Road and Vandipalayam Road where the connecting bridge road intersects the above roads.
